Sticking to any diet can be one of life’s most difficult tasks, but unfortunately, one of life’s most necessary. You know you gained too much weight, and you know just how you did it. I bet you didn’t gain weight by eating fruits and vegetables all of your life, but by eating processed, sugary foods such as candy and cake, and fast food. I also bet that some of you ate what you thought was a healthy diet (and for the mainstreamed “thin” girl/boy, it is), a diet rich in beans, cheese, pasta and rice. Well some of that is fine, but pasta, rice and beans are carbohydrates, which in turn are sugars and we all know that Sugar Makes Us Fat! We need to cut the sugar out to lose the weight.
One misconception is that we need to cut sugar out of our lives forever to be healthy and thin.. FALSE. We need to cut the sugar out to LOSE WEIGHT. Once the weight is lost, sugar in moderation is fine (always followed by a total lean eating day).
