Turkey – Cabbage Rolls

Cabbage Rolls

Great for Phases 1 – 4
Easy to prepare

Ingredients:

  • 8 – 10 large cabbage leaves
  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey (or lean ground beef, or chicken)
  • 1 leek
  • 8 mushrooms
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (no sugar added)
  • fresh or minced garlic
  • sea Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. Par boil cabbage leaves (until soft).
Step 3. Brown turkey and add leeks, bell peppers and mushroom)s, zucchini (any vegetable phase 1 allowed.
Step 4. Drain well.
Step 5. Spoon into cabbage leaves.
Step 6. Wrap like a burrito, hold closed with toothpicks.
Step 7. Place in baking dish.
Step 8. Pour tomatoes over the cabbage rolls.
Step 9. Bake 15-20 minutes.
