   FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to attend an introductory workshop to start the Ideal Protein Protocol?

Yes. Everyone must attend an introductory workshop. You will receive all the information you need and have an opportunity to ask questions. The workshop is free and is offered twice weekly- once during the day and once in the evening. You are under no obligation to take part in this protocol and there is never a hard sell.

We will also come to your business or organization. A minimum of 5 people in your group is required.

Private introductory workshops are available in our office for an additional charge.

Why do I have to complete a confidential Health Profile?

The purpose of the confidential health profile is to determine a client’s current health status in order to guide his/ her weight-loss plan. It must be completed prior to starting the protocol. Occasionally, a client may be asked to seek authorization from their physician based on the health profile.

Is my participation treated as confidential?

Absolutely, BodyTech will never discuss any dieters by name. If you choose to tell other people you are on the protocol that is your business.

Is this a high protein diet?

No. In spite of the name, Ideal Protein this is not a high protein diet. You will only receive the minimum amount of protein your body needs and no more.

How long will I be on this diet?

This is not a diet forever. It has a beginning and an end. The length of time you will be on the diet depends on your personal weight loss goal. On average women can expect to lose 2 1/2 - 5 lbs and men 3-7 lbs per week.

Why do I have to restrict sugar until the weight is lost?

As long as you are eating sugar the body is not burning fat. It's that simple.

After I finish the protocol will I need to continue eating the Ideal Protein food just to maintain my weight?

Absolutely NOT. However, many of our dieters who complete the protocol choose to keep a few favorites on hand because they are healthy, high in protein but low in calories and low in fat.
