Increase In Weight Related Cancer

In keeping up with the news in health, you probably already know that increased weight can lead to type 2 diabetes and heart disease.  Did you know that this extra weight increases your cancer risk?

As read in the latest Nutrition Action publication, a recent report on obesity co-authored by Walter Willett, a Public Health professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School, noted that “many people don’t think about excess weight as a cause of cancer, but it’s probably the second most important cause after smoking.”
