No matter what journey we are on in life, you are always going to have to give up something, to sometimes get what you want or need. Most people are very willing to give up hundreds of thousands of dollars for a home, but to give up your typical holiday meal, to help stay on the course to weight loss success, seems almost impossible for many. Just keep in mind.. You WILL have another Thanksgiving. Once you have achieved your desired weight loss, and learned how to eat to live, then the feast of Thanksgiving will take on an entirely different meaning. While following the protocol, remember.. there WILL be another Thanksgiving. Enjoy your holiday, eat mindful and you may even find that you really don’t have that need to eat the potatoes, the mac and cheese or even the pie. Look back at our archived recipes. You may even find a great one to make and bring with you! You will have other’s enjoying what you enjoy.. Happy Thanksgiving!
