Unfried Cheesy Pickles
Great for phases 1 – 4
Easy to prepare
- 8-10 Dill pickle slices or wedges
- 1 packet Ideal ProteinSouthwest cheese curls
- 1 packet Ideal Protein White cheddar ridges
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 2 – 3 tbsp. egg whites
Step 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2. In a food processor, combine the dry ingredients.
Step 3. Blot pickles of excess moisture. Place pickle slices or wedges in liquid egg whites, coat thoroughly.
Step 4. Dip pickles into crushed crumb mixture, covering completely.
Step 5. Place pickles on a sprayed baking sheet.
6. Bake approx 10 minutes, flip and bake an additional 10 minutes.
